Abstract

In August 2022, a combination of 3 cities in Riau Province experienced deflation of 1.23 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.97. Inflation for the calendar year (January - August) 2022 is 4.86 percent and inflation for the year (August 2021 - August 2022) is 5.84 percent.

Of the 3 CPI cities in Riau Province, all cities experienced deflation, namely, Pekanbaru City by 1.24 percent, Dumai City by 1.05 percent and Tembilahan City by 1.56 percent.
