Abstract

In March 2022, the level of inequality in the expenditure of the population of Riau Province as measured by the Gini Ratio was 0.326. This figure decreased by 0.001 points when compared to the September 2021 Gini Ratio which was 0.327 and did not change compared to the March 2021 Gini Ratio which was also 0.326.

The Gini Ratio in urban areas of Riau Province in March 2022 was recorded at

0.363; down compared to the September 2021 Gini Ratio of 0.369 and the March 2021 Gini Ratio of 0.367.

The Gini Ratio in rural areas of Riau Province in March 2022 was recorded at

0.282; increased compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2021 which was 0.276, and the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which is 0.279.
